Meet Dr. Franco Rossi Jr
Born in Paterson, NJ, and raised in Middletown, NY, since the age of five, Dr. Franco Rossi Jr. has been deeply connected to the local community for over 45 years. His academic journey commenced at Pine Bush High School and further blossomed as he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wilkes University. His pursuit of excellence in eye care led him to the New England College of Optometry, where he achieved his Doctorate. Dr. Rossi assumed practice leadership from Dr. Don A. Hoffmann in 1995, who had previously served the Goshen community faithfully for 42 years. Dr. Rossi has since been a provider of dependable, compassionate eye care for residents.
Dr. Rossi’s dedication to his community and professional excellence has not gone unnoticed. He was awarded the prestigious Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award by The New York State and Bermuda Lions International Foundation, a testament to his exemplary service. Further adding to his accolades, Dr. Rossi was honored with the Lions Eye Institute Knight of the Blind Award in 2022, recognizing his continued commitment to improving vision and eye health within his community.
